Nanny pay rates vary based on experience, education, and job responsibilities. Professional nanny experience begins at age 18, and rates increase with skill and years of childcare experience.
Mollycoddlers’ nannies in Orange County and Los Angeles typically earn $30–$35+ per hour. For Bay Area positions, please add $5/hour to the above rates.

Discovery Call
We’ll schedule a friendly discovery call to dive deeper into your needs, answer questions, and share more about how the process works. Once your $500 engagement fee is received, we begin your personalized search.
Personalized Matching
We carefully select candidates from our trusted network who align with your family’s preferences, experience requirements, and caregiving style. You’ll only see nannies we genuinely believe are a great fit.
Interview & Trial Guidance
We coordinate interviews and trial days so you can see how a nanny connects with your children and fits into your routine. We also assist with extending an offer and finalizing employment details.
Placement & Ongoing Support
Once you’ve found your ideal nanny, we help ensure a smooth start with employment offer guidance, onboarding resources, and check-ins after placement. Our guarantee and replacement policy provide added peace of mind.
Here’s what we require from our families:
Nannies should be paid 52 weeks per year, even when you take a day off. If your nanny is available and ready to work, they should still receive their regular pay.
Families must be willing to pay legally through a payroll service- W-2 no under-the-table payment. Families agree to provide industry-standard benefits including:

- Paid sick days
- Mileage reimbursement for on-the-job driving
