Become a Nanny:

  • Must be at least 20 years of age
  • Legally able to work in the US
  • Complete a Nanny Application
  • Provide resumé
  • Provide a minimum of 3 childcare references and letters of recommendation
  • Able to make a one year commitment (unless temp position)
  • CPR & First Aid Certified
  • Clean DMV and Criminal Background
  • High School graduate or more
  • Proficient in English
  • Minimum of 3 years prior childcare experience

Our Nanny Recruitment Process

  1. Submit Application & Resume - We have new positions coming in regularly and are always recruiting great nannies!  We will review your application and resume and if we feel you are a good candidate for our clients we will schedule an interview with you.  
  2. Reference Check - We will contact your previous employers and references.  If everything checks out we will begin presenting you to our clients as a candidate for their position.
  3. Interview & Trial Days - If our client wishes to interview you we will schedule an interview for you with them.  You may have more than one interview with a family.  Part of our hiring process is to have families conduct trial days with their top choice.  This will be from 1-5 days and you will be paid your normal hourly wage by the family.  
  4. Contract - Once the family makes an offer of employment to you we will provide a contract and can assist with negotiations between you and your employers.
  5. Background Screen - Once an offer of employment has been accepted we will begin running your background screen.  Congratulations!  You have a new position. 

Become a Sitter 

Become a Sitter:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Legally able to work in the US
  • Complete a Sitter Application
  • Provide resumé
  • Provide a minimum of 3 childcare references
  • Able to commit to a minimum of 2 shifts per month
  • CPR & First Aid Certified
  • Clean DMV and Criminal Background
  • High School graduate or more
  • Proficient in English
  • Minimum of 3 years prior childcare experience
  • Proficient in English
  • Love children and be looking for a fun and flexible job!

Our Sitter Recruitment Process

  1. Complete the Sitter Application
  2. Mollycoddlers will contact you to schedule an interview
  3. We will contact your provided references and run your background screen
  4. If everything checks out we will pre-register you on our app "Sitter Pro"
  5. You will receive an email and instructional video on how to complete your registration through the Sitter Pro app
  6. You are ready to start accepting on-call sits.  Congratulations and welcome to the team!
