Professional nanny experience starts at the age of 18. All rates are dependent on the nanny's responsibilities, education, qualifications, and years of experience.
$22-25 per hour
Nannies with up to 3 years nanny/childcare experience
$24-28 per hour
Nannies with 3-5 years nanny/childcare experience
$25-35 per hour
Nannies with 5+ years nanny/childcare experience
$32-$40+ per hour
Nannies with 8+ years nanny/childcare experience
For Families:
These are starting rates for families with 1-2 children. Each additional child is typically $2+ extra per hour.
For Nannies:
Pay offered will be determined by your qualifications, college degree/certifications, years of professional nanny experience and duties expected.
Additional Information:
Benefits included by families such as vacation, sick pay, holidays and guaranteed hours are standard for all nanny positions. Additionally, some families include health care stipends and gas stipends to their benefits package.
